Pamela R. Collins, CPA
pam@collinsconsult.com
Pamela launched Collins Consulting in 1992 after recognizing a need in
the marketplace for professionals that combine financial expertise and
creative problem-solving with exceptional facilitation skills. After
observing clients struggling to complete projects on a timely basis,
Pamela was motivated to establish a firm that could address client
needs in an efficient and comprehensive manner. Pamela's visionary
spirit has been the driving force in creating an environment that
attracts professionals who are innovative, technical and
driven.
Prior
to founding Collins Consulting, Pamela was an auditor with KPMG LLP,
where she focused on the insurance and banking industries. She also
spent three years as an internal auditor for an international
manufacturing company and two years as a financial analyst for a
national retail chain. Pamela holds a M.S. in Professional Accountancy
from Walsh College and a B.A. in Economics and Management from Albion
College. She has completed the necessary steps to become a Certified
Hummingbird Professional (Hummingbird DM), a leading document
management solution. Pamela is a member of the AICPA and MACPA, as well
as the Association of Governmental Risk Pools and the International
Association of Insurance Receivers. She is also on the Accounting
Advisory Committee for the International Center for Captive Insurance
Education. She enjoys speaking at industry conventions, and has spoken
on the topics of captives and the pooling industry in the past.
